The SWIETELSKY subsidiary was able to provide a training position for a young man with learning difficulties.
Wilhelm Pichler, managing director of Metallbau Wastler, heard Angelo's call on the radio in 2019 during the Ö3 campaign "I want and I can work." He was looking for an apprenticeship and had received several rejections due to his learning difficulties.
After a personal conversation, the Wastler team was convinced that Angelo, with his highly motivated, interested, and humorous nature, could make a valuable contribution to the company's success. He started a two-year training program: "Standardized Training in Metal" – a program of the "INDUSTRY" project of Caritas OÖ. In August 2021, Angelo successfully completed this training and is now a reliable and motivated employee in production and also on installations.
