EcoVadis is the world's largest provider of sustainability ratings for companies. The assessment is based on 21 criteria covering the areas of: environment, ethics, fair labor conditions, human rights, and sustainable procurement.
For the review by the experts, the completed questionnaire was submitted along with written evidence. SWIETELSKY received the Gold award with a total score of 67. The areas of environment (80 points) and ethics (70 points) were particularly highlighted. "We have improved in all areas compared to previous years and are pleased with the gold rating. We will not rest on our laurels. Further improvement measures are already planned," says Christian Wahmüller, head of sustainability management. This rating is becoming increasingly important for customers and business partners. It serves as a basis for the classification and comparison of a company's sustainability performance.
EcoVadis consists of 1,000 experts from over 52 nationalities. The team creates sustainability ratings worldwide and has established a global network of more than 90,000 rated companies. The sustainability assessment shows how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability into its business and management system.
