The renovation project at Fröbelgasse 6, 1160 Vienna-Ottakring is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
The client Gassner & Partner Baumanagement GmbH has commissioned the Fessl revitalization department at Hietzinger Kai in Vienna for the construction work. The expansion of the attic is being carried out in hybrid construction, a combination of wood and steel. The old courtyard will be partially demolished: This space will be used for the construction of new apartments. The existing units will be expanded. A total of six new residential units will be created. Two of them will be designed as spacious maisonette apartments. The size ranges from 70 to 120 square meters. Each apartment will be equipped with an outdoor area.
In addition to the green roofs and the landscaping of the courtyard, integrated photovoltaic panels will be installed on the entire outer roof area. Part of the facade will be greened. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022. The revitalization department of the SWIETELSKY subsidiary Georg Fessl has years of experience in urban redevelopment and once again demonstrates its craftsmanship with this project. We thank the construction team for their commitment and wish for a smooth process going forward.
