Groundbreaking for Office Park 4 NEXT: SWIETELSKY realizes new office and conference center at Vienna International Airport
11.02.2026With the ceremonial groundbreaking, the official start of construction for the Office Park 4 NEXT in AirportCity has begun. On behalf of Flughafen Wien AG, SWIETELSKY is responsible as the general contractor for the implementation of this forward-looking major project at Vienna International Airport.
The construction start for another landmark project at Vienna International Airport has taken place: The new Office Park 4 NEXT expands the existing building complex and will create space for around 1,000 new jobs upon completion. The modern office and conference center thus strengthens AirportCity as an important economic location and dynamic hub.
Partnership as a success model
“The collaboration with Flughafen Wien AG is excellent and extremely cooperative. We already know Flughafen Wien AG very well, as we were allowed to build the first Office Park 4 for them. We are now building on this trust,” emphasizes Peter Krammer, CEO of Swietelsky AG, highlighting the very good cooperation between the client and contractor.
A special feature of the project is the “Early Contractor Involvement” (ECI). SWIETELSKY was already involved as a partner in the conceptual phase to develop the best and most economical solution together with the client from the very first idea. This approach underscores the lived partnership on equal terms.
“The Office Park 4 NEXT is a demanding construction project that combines the highest ecological standards with modern architecture. We are pleased to implement this forward-looking project together with our partners and thus set a new standard for sustainable construction,” Peter Krammer further explains.
Swietelsky AG brings its extensive construction expertise to the project, making an important contribution to the long-term development and growth of the Vienna International Airport location. The completion of the Office Park 4 NEXT is planned for the year 2028.
