November 30 has established itself in recent years as a fixed date in SWIETELSKY's financial calendar: the day the company publishes its half-year report.
SWIETELSKY remained stable in the first half of 2023/24 in a challenging economic environment. Increased financing and wage costs, persistently high material and energy costs, and a worsening shortage of personnel in specialized disciplines are reflected in an economic stagnation across all core markets. Nevertheless, SWIETELSKY recorded a slight increase in construction output compared to the previous year, amounting to EUR 2,047.3 million. We were able to improve the earnings before depreciation, interest, and taxes (EBITDA) by 1.1 percent or EUR 1.8 million compared to the same period last year.
More on the developments of the past 6 months and a look ahead at the remaining business year can be found in the current half-year report.
