Opening of the Silvretta Therme in Ischgl

14.12.2022

The SWIETELSKY location in Landeck carried out the extensive construction work, and the HTB construction company was also involved.

After about three years of construction, the new Silvretta Therme in Ischgl was opened on December 8. The architectural gem in the famous Tyrolean ski area sets new standards on several levels: Two buildings house around 1,000 m2 of water surfaces as well as a sauna area of over 1,500 m2. Additionally, there is a fitness studio with 320 m2 and an event hall for up to 600 people. A highlight is the ice rink, which is approximately 1,300 m2 in size.

From a construction perspective, the project led by site manager Harald Falkner boasts impressive figures: Approximately 81,000 m3 of enclosed space involved about 23,000 m3 of concrete and 2,700 tons of construction steel. Furthermore, the HTB construction company was responsible for the excavation safety and the adjacent bank reinforcement, as well as for the construction of a bridge. A high-quality terrace covering was also realized by HTB. The total construction costs of the project amount to around 75 million euros.
