The SWIETELSKY branch Hochbau Wien is implementing the tower construction project "Snow White" in the second district of Vienna as part of a joint venture. So far, 88 meters have been successfully built. The expert team of the joint venture only needs an average of 9 working days to construct a complete floor.
In September 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony took place for one of the most striking high-rise projects in Vienna: A residential high-rise building approximately 100 meters tall is being constructed at Taborstraße 111 in the Vienna Nordbahnhof district. 295 rental apartments ranging from 41 to 101 square meters will be created over 29 floors. Five more towers are planned to follow.
Sustainability at the Center
A highlight of the construction project: the strong focus on more sustainable building practices. A central district heating and cooling system including component activation, extensive green roofing, photovoltaic systems on the roof, and an energy community for optimal utilization of the electricity supply are intended to make Snow White climate-ready. The building meets the requirements according to the EU taxonomy regulation and aims for a Climate Active Gold certification.
Completion is planned for early 2025.
