SWIETELSKY awards 3,000 euros in scholarships to successful civil engineering students
24.10.2022On the occasion of the scholarship award ceremony for the "Civil Engineering in Structural Engineering" program at FH Wels, a total of 16 scholarships were awarded for the academic year 2022/23.
More than 50 students from the bachelor's and master's programs applied in advance. SWIETELSKY Chairman Karl Weidlinger and Gerald Bauer, head of the central technical staff, presented the scholarship vouchers worth 1,000 euros each to the civil engineers of tomorrow: Susanne Hohensinn, Viktoria Gartlehner, and Paul Fink. The amount will be paid retroactively after successful completion of the winter and summer semesters. Following the award ceremony, the opportunity for exchange between company representatives and students was utilized to discuss internship positions, thesis topics, and potential permanent positions.

Scholarships for Civil Engineering Students:
The companies SWIETELSKY, HABAU, WIEHAG, LEITL, and SCHMID BAUGRUPPE, as well as the Upper Austria Construction Guild, have set themselves the goal of attracting prospective high school graduates to the civil engineering program at FH OÖ Campus Wels and further supporting successful students. Sixteen students from the FH OÖ programs in Civil Engineering in Structural Engineering have received scholarships of 1,000 euros each per academic year.
