With the words "People who work together add their potentials. People who work for each other multiply their potentials," board member Klaus Bleckenwegner opened this year's SWIETELSKY QM Days 2024. For the first time, the event spanned two days and was marked by intense exchange and communication.
The first day began with a brief introduction to the latest developments in the field of Integrated Management Systems (IMS). Subsequently, the Quality Management Representatives (QMBs) were invited to actively participate in shaping the future of quality management at SWIETELSKY. The roles of the QM representatives and the central IMS/QM department were collaboratively developed. This was followed by a discussion on central corporate topics such as Equipment Management (GAM), the Business Partner Evaluation Module (GPM), and document and process management. Subject matter experts were available for questions and supported the dialogue.
Particularly noteworthy is the international participation: colleagues from the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland were present and enriched the discussions. A joint walk at the end of the day provided an opportunity to reflect on the impressions gained in a relaxed atmosphere.
On the second day, the event was entirely focused on active co-design: participants had already submitted their topic suggestions in advance, which were further developed in interactive workshops. Here, initial solutions and ideas for the further development of quality management at SWIETELSKY emerged.
The QM Days 2024 were characterized by open exchange, collaborative learning, and a positive working atmosphere. SWIETELSKY looks forward to continuing this participatory approach in the future and to continuously improving together.
