On November 8, 2023, the INEO Gala took place at the Wels exhibition hall. While our OÖ subsidiary DUSWALD successfully recertified like the parent company, Swietelsky AG received an AWARD for the first time in the category of large companies.
INEO is the award and quality seal of the Chamber of Commerce of Upper Austria for companies with exemplary commitment to apprenticeship training. INEO stands for innovation, sustainability, commitment, and orientation. The management duo Georg Desch and Alfred Mühlböck from Duswald Bau GmbH, as well as Swietelsky AG, have successfully completed their recertification. Thus, they will publicly use the quality seal for another three years.
Branch manager Georg Desch, HR manager Clemens Kukacka, and team leader Young Talents Stefan Gahleitner were particularly pleased about receiving the INEO Award in the category of large companies. Only a few Upper Austrian companies receive this special honor each year.
HR manager Clemens Kukacka stated: “Being included this year is a great confirmation of the years of development work in our apprenticeship area. My special congratulations go to Stefan Gahleitner and his team of apprenticeship coordinators, as well as all trainers in the operational units up to the foremen on the construction sites. There is nothing more rewarding than supporting young apprentices as they grow both professionally and personally, ultimately exceeding themselves at SWIETELSKY.”
SWIETELSKY employs more than 300 apprentices in around 30 different professions, with a trend of increasing numbers for years. Board member August Weichselbaumer assures: “Despite challenging times, we will remain a committed training company in our own economic interest, but also out of social responsibility. We are intensifying our efforts to attract young talents and retain them in the company long-term. I connect my congratulations on the INEO Award with thanks to all branches and subsidiaries that make our apprenticeship training one of the best in the industry,” said Weichselbaumer.
