At the beginning of the year, SWIETELSKY became one of the first construction companies in Austria to achieve re-certification ISO/IEC 27001:2022. SWIETELSKY thus takes a pioneering role in information security.
ISO 27001 is regarded as the gold standard of information security. As early as 2020, SWIETELSKY distinguished itself as one of the first construction companies in Austria to be certified according to this important standard. With the publication of the new standard version 2022, SWIETELSKY successfully completed the certification according to the updated standard at the end of 2023.

This certification not only sends a strong signal externally but is also highly valued internally. We are already seeing initial inquiries from the operational area that recognize the added value of these certificates. Especially in regulated sectors, such as railway construction, ISO 27001 certification can represent a competitive advantage.
