Topping-out ceremony at Stumpergasse 56: A progress for Viennese residential construction

At the end of June, the topping-out ceremony for the construction project at Stumpergasse 56 in the 6th district of Vienna took place. The SWIETELSKY branch office for structural engineering East, in collaboration with Wiener Wohnen, is implementing modern municipal apartments here until July 2025.

Project Overview

At Stumpergasse 56, 46 innovative residential units are being created that meet modern standards. In addition to the residential units, an exclusive commercial unit will be built. The project also includes an underground garage with space for 32 cars and 117 bicycles. Special highlights are the green facades in the courtyard and the planned street-side greening, which make an active contribution to climate protection.

Ceremonies and Participation

The topping-out ceremony was a significant moment for all involved. Numerous guests, including representatives from Wiener Wohnen, construction workers, planners, and partners, honored the progress made so far. The celebration was characterized by music, a lavish buffet, and a tour of the shell construction.
