When the spark jumps: SWIETELSKY relies on innovative 3D models in railway construction

The SWIETELSKY subsidiary Bahnbau Petri has impressed the bidding consortium Siemens – Max Bögl with its experience and references for special solutions in railway construction. The task: The installation of the tracks and power rails for the PTS Frankfurt (Passenger Transport System Frankfurt). On-site is the foreman with his 12-member team.

Complete installation with innovative special solutions

Bahnbau Petri is responsible for the installation of the tracks and the power rails installed on both sides, starting from Terminal 1 through Terminal 2 to the newly constructed Terminal 3. Logistical obstacles and high safety regulations of FRA-PORT must be taken into account. The company once again excels with innovative special solutions that were developed as concept models in a 3D printer and implemented 1:1.

Construction time and construction volume

The construction work for the PTS Frankfurt started in August 2022 and is expected to last until December 2023. Bahnbau Petri relies not only on experienced teams but also on the latest technologies such as 3D models to tackle railway construction-specific challenges. Through the use of innovative special solutions and precise implementation, the company demonstrates its competence in railway construction.
