World Championship Title for the Concrete Builder Team of SWIETELSKY Subsidiary Georg Fessl GmbH

Christoph Kurz and Stefan Huber, the concrete builder team from Georg Fessl GmbH in Waldviertel, have won the world championship title! After intense preparation, they faced teams from Hong Kong, Germany, Zambia, Japan, India, France, Denmark, and China in an international competition.

Challenges Overcome

The demanding tasks included creating a formwork with a curve, tying a reinforcement cage, and making a formwork with a beam and column. Especially the formwork with a curve, which posed difficulties for many teams, was mastered by Kurz and Huber with the highest precision.

Thanks to the Mentor

Thomas Zach, apprentice mentor, accompanied the team from the state championship to the world skills competition. His commitment was crucial for this success.

A Role Model for Youth

We congratulate Stefan Huber and Christoph Kurz on this outstanding achievement! They are an inspiration for many young people in all construction professions.
