Wolfgang Pacher wird ab 1. April 2026 neuer COO Österreich
Mit Beginn des Geschäftsjahres 2026/27 übernimmt Ing. Wolfgang Pacher die Funktion des COO Österreich innerhalb der Swietelsky AG und damit die Verantwortung für den Heimatmarkt von Österreichs drittgrößtem Bauunternehmen.
Pacher ist Experte für den Tunnel- und Infrastrukturbau und verfügt über mehr als 30 Jahre Branchenerfahrung. Seit 2010 war er in leitender Funktion bei SWIETELSKY tätig, seit 2023 als Geschäftsbereichsleiter für Tunnel- und Ingenieurtiefbau.
Gleichzeitig verabschiedet sich August Weichselbaumer, der die Funktion des COO Österreich bisher innehatte, nach 27 Jahren bei SWIETELSKY in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand.

SWIETELSKY: Wolfgang Pacher to become new COO Austria as of 1 April 2026
At the start of the 2026/27 financial year, Ing. Wolfgang Pacher will assume the role of COO Austria within Swietelsky AG and, with it, responsibility for the home market of Austria’s third-largest construction company.
Pacher is an expert in tunnel and infrastructure construction and has more than 30 years of industry experience. He has held senior positions at SWIETELSKY since 2010, most recently since 2023 as Division Head for Tunnelling and Civil Engineering / Special Foundation Engineering.
At the same time, August Weichselbaumer, who has served as COO Austria to date, will retire after 27 years with SWIETELSKY.
